Why a UFO is Now a UAP
UFO's are not dying out but scientists have found a way around getting information.

I am old enough to remember decades of fear connected to possible alien life circulating the planet and randomly touching down. This all began with Betty and Barney Hill who were abducted in 1947.
At least that is the convincing story that was splattered all over the morning newspapers. This was followed up by the infamous story circulating about a crash landing in Roswell of an alien ship. That is when the national cover up began and speculation ran wild.
Because of the concerted efforts by our armed services to squelch all of this as mere hysteria and the result of natural phenomena, this became a thorn in the side of our service people who no longer had credibility if they reported incidents.
So a new approach is to change the name and the experiences associated with it to embrace all such happenings that did have some credibility but still might be something other than aliens.
UAP is the name adopted. This means: Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Sounds rather lofty doesn’t it? The purpose also included adding science to the equation since science-based phenomenon was to be included.
This gives the name credibility. Now pilots could report unknown origins of disruption and not fear being ridiculed or told to keep the information hush hush. This is because there is a concern about national security and aviation had to be protected.
And if you think the idea of aliens is no longer considered, it might interest you to know the National UFO Reporting Center is still taking calls and is fully operational as a non-profit entity that supports the cause since 1974.
